Amazon India
Fashion Week
Design the complete event identity for Amazon India Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2017.
Developed at Illum Design Project Ltd. in 2017 in collaboration with Shrishti Vajpai.
The concept drew from the Bauhaus ballerinas — a study in bodies as geometric, kinetic forms. The design language that emerged was deliberately flexible: capable of generating energy across a wide range of collateral without becoming rigid or repetitive.
The system moved fluidly between type, illustration, pattern, and photography to create atmosphere rather than a static brand. Applications spanned letterheads, ID cards, invites, coupons, t-shirts, and large-scale venue installations. The venue photographs are the proof of concept, the identity held up at scale and created the intended sense of vibrancy throughout the space.
